Abstract
Objective : The purpose of this study was relationship with motor praxis and visual perception that based of reading and writing.

Methods : Fourty children participated in this study, 20 of 1st grade and 20 of 2nd grade from elementary school in Kyungnam. We used of K-DTVP-2 for visual perceptual ability, COMPS and the PrVC of SIPT subtests for praxis.

Results : There is a significant difference between visual perception and motor praxis, but there¡¯s not a sig-nificant age and sex of COMPS, PrVC, K-DTVP-2. K-DTVP-2 was related with PrVC and COMPS. The score of VMI is that 2nd grade is higher than 1st grade, so we know the integration of visual and motor develops as the age gets higher.

Conclusion : Visual perception was relationship with motor praxis in 1st and 2nd grades of elementary school students. But this study has some weak points. First, the children is just from Kim-hae. Second, there isn¡¯t an age gap between 1st and 2nd grades. Lastly, there isn¡¯t a significant difference because they are a few. So, there must be several evaluation standard to show norm data and the next step of study will be relationship with motor praxis and visual perception in handicapped children.
